ScanForce Welcomes Errett Thomas to the Team

As our team continues to grow with key, strategic hires, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Strategic Business Account Manager Errett Thomas to the ScanForce Sales Team! Errett will be working closely with many of our Sage business partners to help them identify needs their customers have around barcode scanning and mobile warehouse & sales automation and apply the appropriate ScanForce solutions to fit those needs.

We were initially connected with Errett by some of our colleagues at Sage, where Errett has worked in the past.  He has a long history working directly for Sage and Sage partners and ISVs dating back to 2001. He was the #1 new business Sage FAS sales rep in 2005.

He has helped companies around the world improve their business processes to become more productive and profitable. Some notable companies Errett has helped are Nokia, Sur La Table, Esurance, Tuesday Morning, Darden Restaurants, and Harrods.

He is also the author of the book No Limit- 7 General Orders of Sales Leadership.

I’ve spent the last decade helping to grow small and mid-size technology companies in both the public and private sector on a global scale. I’m excited about the opportunity to be a part of the fast growth trajectory I see at ScanForce.

Errett Thomas, Strategic Business Account Manager

When we were introduced to Errett, it didn’t take us long to decide that he would be just the addition our Sales team needs to help us achieve our growth objectives.

More about Errett

Get this: His first full time job was working in a warehouse receiving inventory and stocking bins! Having done this without the help of amazing barcode technology like ours, he can certainly relate to the pain our customers feel when handling these processes manually!

Errett served with the US Army performing functions in Military Intelligence, Supply & Personnel support. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his dedicated service.

Fun facts

Errett is also a historical miniature gamer who focuses on the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. He has hand painted hundreds of miniature toy soldiers. He’s an avid student and reader of military and illustration art history. Some of his favorite illustrators include J.C. Leyendecker, Frank Frazetta, and Boris Vallejo.  Some of his most influential military leaders are Napoleon Bonaparte, Ulysses Grant Mcalexander, and  Chesty Puller.

If you’ve been following our previous hire announcements, you may know we’ve had a streak of hiring Patriots fans including Gary Lamb and Shaun Garrity. As we are fans of a diverse workplace, we are pleased to announce that Errett is not a Patriots fan.

Welcome to the team, Errett!
