The ScanForce Team is Growing - Welcome Mae Roche and Yoko Kowaas
Our team is growing! One of our core values is developing innovative Sage Intacct and Sage 100 software solutions. To ensure we can keep delivering a high level of service, we are pleased to announce the addition of two new team members, Mae Roche and Yoko Kowaas.
More About Mae Roche
Mae joins us as a Client Account Manager. In her previous role, Mae worked for a merchandising company that used Sage 100 and ScanForce. Her familiarity with this environment has helped her acclimate to the job quickly, but she explained that every ScanForce client is unique, and we treat them as such. As a Client Account Manager, Mae will work directly with customers to assist with their needs for additional licenses, new devices, plan renewals, custom development requests, and more.
Mae was immediately impressed with the interview process, where she met with many different stakeholders. She stated the best part about working at ScanForce is the people, some of whom she already knew from her days as a customer. As Mae learns the ropes, she’s discovered that “ScanForce is a tight-knit company, and it’s a priority that any new hire is not only a skill set fit but also a cultural fit.”

Mae works remotely from her small town in Maine, where she lives with her husband and two children. They enjoy camping, ATVs, snowmobiles, skiing, and just about anything outdoors. When we heard she lived in Maine, we had to ask – did she know of Alex’s Pizza in Biddeford? We previously discovered that two of our other employees, Gary and Shaun, used to hang out there when they were younger and living in the area. It turns out yes, it’s about 20 minutes from where she lives!
More About Yoko Kowaas
Yoko is the newest addition to our Customer Support team. Her background working in support for another ERP solution that specialized in manufacturing shop floor control has helped her quickly get up to speed on our technology. In her new role, Yoko will help customers with everything from general how-to questions, technical and networking issues, and problems with their Sage configuration that impact our solutions.
On a typical day, she reviews tickets as they come in and handles front-line issues. Joining us from a larger company, Yoko said she enjoys the smaller environment and more personal interactions.

Born in Jakarta and having spent a number of her childhood years in Japan, Yoko currently lives in West Chester, OH, with her fur-baby, Grim (she’s a big Harry Potter fan, so IYKYK!). She is active in martial arts and is a three-stripe blue belt in Jujitsu, having first fought as an amateur for five years, then going pro. She only had one fight before the pandemic caused her to sideline her pro career, and while she isn’t currently fighting on the pro circuit, she is still actively honing her skills.
