Outbound Serialization

Track outbound serial numbers for shipped items without using Sage 100’s serial valuation method.

If you’re looking to keep track of serials numbers on items you ship to customers, but don’t want to use the serial valuation method in Sage 100, Outbound Serialization is a great alternative.

The option adds a checkbox at the item level allowing users to indicate whether or not an item should be tracked with Outbound Serial Numbers. When checked, the handheld device will prompt the user for a Serial Number in ScanForce SO Checking/Packing and SO Shipping. The numbers are stored as comma separated values in a new field in the Invoice Detail as well as in the ScanForce Management Console.

Outbound Serialization is an optional add-on available for any version of ScanForce.
