Contact UsICFH grew sixfold in a decade and built the warehouse infrastructure to support it.
See how ScanForce helped ICFH replace paper-based processes with real-time warehouse visibility, complete traceability, and the operational infrastructure needed to scale.

When paper processes become a growth barrier.
In the early days, ICFH ran its warehouse entirely on paper. Receiving, picking, packing, staging, and loading were all managed manually. There was no real-time inventory visibility, no expiration date tracking, no electronic traceability, and limited operational insight into warehouse activity.
As one of the cruise industry’s leading foodservice distributors, ICFH faces a level of complexity most warehouses never encounter. Cruise ships are essentially floating cities that must be fully stocked before departure. Once a vessel leaves port, there are no second chances, no emergency resupply runs, and no room for error.
At the same time, the business was growing rapidly. More ships, more products, larger facilities, and higher throughput placed increasing pressure on processes that weren’t designed to scale. It became clear that paper couldn’t keep pace with the company’s future.
Limited Inventory Visibility
Paper-based processes made it difficult to gain real-time insight into inventory movement and warehouse activity.
No End-to-End Traceability
Products could not be digitally tracked from receiving through delivery to the ship.
Compliance Challenges
Managing lot numbers and expiration dates required greater control and accountability.
Growth Constraints
Manual processes could not support the scale and complexity of the company's expansion plans
A new system, running on the hardware they already owned.
ICFH implemented ScanForce as the backbone of its warehouse management operation. By replacing paper processes with barcode-driven workflows and real-time data capture, the company gained the visibility and control required to scale.
What began as a warehouse modernization initiative evolved into a comprehensive operational platform supporting every stage of inventory movement. From receiving and replenishment to picking, staging, and loading, ScanForce provides the information needed to keep products moving accurately and efficiently.
Full Digital Traceability
Every case can be tracked from receiving through final delivery, creating complete visibility across the supply chain.
Lot & Expiration Tracking
Inventory is monitored by lot and expiration date to help ensure product quality and compliance.
Wave Picking & License Plate Tracking
Orders are grouped for efficiency while maintaining real-time pallet visibility throughout the fulfillment process.
Real-Time Operational Visibility
Cycle counting, KPI dashboards, barcode scanning, and warehouse reporting provide management with actionable information as events occur.
More than a system. An operational partner.
Without ScanForce, the growth we have achieved would not have been possible. They have been more than a vendor… they are a true operational partner.
Six times the scale. One connected warehouse.
Over the past decade, ICFH has transformed its operation from a paper-based warehouse into a fully digital distribution environment serving one of the most demanding industries in the world. As cruise industry demand accelerated, ScanForce provided the operational infrastructure needed to support that growth while maintaining accuracy, traceability, and service levels. During that time, ICFH grew from serving 150 ships to more than 300, while expanding its product catalog from fewer than 1,000 products to more than 3,500.
Its warehouse footprint increased from 30,000 to 150,000 square feet, with pallet positions growing from 3,000 to more than 10,000 and warehouse staff expanding from fewer than 30 employees to more than 150. Daily pallet throughput increased from fewer than 100 to 300–400+, while the operation expanded from dry products only to dry, frozen, and bonded categories. What once relied on paper-based processes and no handheld scanners now operates with a full digital WMS environment supported by more than 50 handheld scanners.
That growth was only possible because ScanForce gave us the operational infrastructure to scale. ScanForce is not a vendor to us — they are part of our business, just as we are part of the cruise lines' operations.
