On Monday, 8/6 Google released its latest Android operating system – Android 9, also known as Android Pie, and we were ready! On that same day, ScanForce released our latest Android 9-ready version.
“We’ve built Android 9 to learn from you – and work better for you – the more you use it,” Google said in a blog post. ‘”From predicting your next task so you can jump right into the action you want to take, to prioritizing battery power for the apps you use most, to helping you disconnect from your phone at the end of the day, Android 9 adapts to your life and the ways you like to use your phone.”
Our customers need options when it comes to the technology they deploy in concert with their ScanForce system. While it’s a big effort to ensure compatibility with so many different environments, we never want device options to be a roadblock for our customers – not even for a single day. Our development team stays ahead of the game so our customers never have to wait to use the latest and greatest tech out there.
“Here at ScanForce, we love pie. It only made sense that we would bring these two great inventions – ScanForce and Pie – together. In all seriousness, we are excited to be on the cutting edge of the latest operating system release from Google. We have been working with Android 9 (Pie) since the initial beta release. We are proud to offer full support for Android 9 on its release date.” – Dan Rodriguez, CTO
