From Fan to Family – Christine Madonia Joins the ScanForce Team
As part of an organizational change to help us better serve our partners and prospective customers, we are excited to announce the addition of Christine Madonia to our sales team in the role of Business Account Manager I.
While she may be new to our team, Christine is by no means new to ScanForce or to Sage 100. In her previous role with a food distribution company, she was the internal “Sage master,” having written over 200 Crystal reports and SQL queries to connect data to Excel.
In addition to her efforts to help her team gain visibility into Sage data through better reporting, she also used her passion for finding ways to make things easier to spearhead a change from another warehouse management solution to ScanForce. You may even recognize her name from our case study: All Seasonings Ingredients Achieves Growth After Transitioning to ScanForce.
During her warehouse optimization journey, she found ScanForce’s products and team to be a good match for her passion for software and productivity. Working first with Tim James on the initial purchase and then with Gary Lamb on the implementation, she was impressed with our team’s attention to detail and depth of knowledge about barcode scanning and warehouse management technology.
Her blend of deep technical experience with both Sage and ScanForce (and our competition) combined with her energetic, enthusiastic personality (could it be all that yoga? – she does 5-7 sessions per week!) make her the ideal fit for our newly created role of Business Account Manager I. In her role, she’ll assist with the sales process, including managing inbound inquiries and eventually performing solution presentations. Her previous company was a power user of sorts, so she is familiar with many facets of ScanForce and can speak to them from personal experience!
While she currently resides in her hometown of Clinton, NY (upstate), Christine has lived in Peru, Bologna, Florence, Milan, and England. With a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Italian, and French from Franklin & Marshall College (where she also played on the soccer team), she is our first quadrilingual employee! Christine also has a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs.
Working from home with her officemate Humphrey Bogart (pictured below), she has been impressed with the collaboration from the ScanForce team, even in a remote environment. She is and is excited to get to work helping our Sage customers and partners!
